Rimmel London - Glam'eyes HD

Saw these at priceline, i wanna to try the new Kate Moss lip stick, and they were doing 3 for the price of 2, so instead of grabbing two more lip sticks, i end up grabbing this cut quad eye shadow  in pink & blue strips that is design like the English flag. How can i resist it?

In general,  i am pretty impress with the colour payoff, with past experience with Rimmel eye shadow, i wasn't expecting anything for it's pigmentation. when swatch on hand, it was pretty good, furthermore, when i try it on my eyes, the colour is still showing too,  and i didn't have to put too much effort on applying nor blending. the eye shadows are quite creamy, which is what i like. However when I used the application provided on the eye shadow, the eye shadow becomes quite crumbling, if i use a brush this becomes a less of a problem. ( you can see this on the eye shadow after photo down below)

i particular like the purple shade in 006 Purple Reign ( the colour that has most colour on the eye shadow), this colour reminds me of MAC's satin taupe. i am a huge fan of purple/ brown colour, and this purple shade looks like it belong to the satin taupe family. however  it's more purple and pigmented than Satin taupe. (i forgot to take picture when i swatch Satin taupe next to it)


after use & swatch:

i also like the deepest shade in 008 true union jack, it's a very deep blue, that has blue shimmer on it. it's so deep that it can almost be black. the only down turn is, the space are so small, it very hard to get the colour without getting the other other next to it.  however, if you use a small eyeliner brush, this problem can be solve.


Swatch & after use:

the only down side of this eye shadow, is the space of each eye shadow is way too small,

as you can see from the picture, the in between space is so small,

if you use the application they provided,

you will get the colour next to it as well, (like the pink colour & the white)

you will def need a brush to apply too, this will also gives you a better application on the eyes as well.
